For the third part of this project I download the Android SDK and learned more about the features. I primarily looked at the User Interface, Data Storage, Security Permissions, Graphics, Audio/Video and Location/Maps. Looking at the features I had some ideas for the design.
The index page would look like a bookshelf where each menu item would simulate a book being pulled out.
After a menu is selected, it would be displayed as though it were a physical book, where you can turn pages to get more options.
As mentioned before, there will be sub-accounts inside main accounts. So each family member can have access to the main family page as well as there own page.
Locations for bookstores would be displayed via google maps. Later iterations can map out your house/library to help you find a book.
Later iterations that incorporate movies for books will display trailers.
