- This is a fairly general goal. I simply hope to learn more about the way computer systems work, on both the hardware and software levels.

- Another fairly general goal. I'd like to learn more about how open source can effect individuals (such as myself) as well as companies (both small and large).

- I'd like to contribute to the open source community in one or more of the following ways:
- promotion of open source alternatives to proprietary software (encourage people to use open office, gimp, gaim, firefox etc.)
- education about open source software (video or written tutorials)
- bug reporting

ITL
- learn about the administration of computers in a lab environment
- I'm interested in learning about what goes into making a lab such as the ITL run smoothly.
- haven't started yet except for learning through "diffusion"
- learn more about computer system and network security
- I'd like to learn more about how hackers attack computers/networks and how to protect against attacks.
- currently working on the honeynet project, specifically a low-interaction PHP "shell"
