My research interests cover a wide range of topics in the fields of Mechatronics and Biomechanics.

Some of the projects I have worked in the past include, development of an immersive virtual reality environment with haptic feedback for power wheelchair training, reconstruction of 3D geometry from multiple 2D images of stomach, motion control and trajectory planning for Provar assitive robotic arm, algorithms to remodel and predict the microstructure of cancellous bone which includes the level of physical activity of the subject under consideration via motion capture techniques.

My current interests include development of autonomous and guided tele-operation of off-road vehicles, control and navigation of multirotors with object detection and tracking with applications in both indoor and outdoor environment.

Teaching Interests:

I have taught the following graduate/undergraduate level course and undergraduate lab. I have enjoyed teaching and interacting with students and will continue my efforts in educating student at all levels.

EE/ME 450/550 - Control Systems
EE401/501 - Digital Signal Processing (Spring2013)
EE311 - Junior Lab
