• Set up Talos to have Unbound for recursive DNS
• Replacements for Atlas
• Talking to OIT to replace ATLAS on their servers

Hydra

• Backups (intro to rsync)
• Reinstall OS (Teaching Kate and working with Cary)
• First time really interacting with VMs
• Got the needed VMs back up
• set up my own VM for a class project
• Set up the bridge on hydra so that we can ssh into our servers
• Hydra was unable to ssh into, and now that is fixed

General

• Came up to school 3 days early
• Trying to figure out what's up with Ziltoid
• Learned about how to configure our switches via web GUI
• Solidfied my knowledge of vlans, and COSI vlans in particular
• Learned more about COSI and generic network structure
• Purchases for network
• Just A LOT of server room work
• Some more organization in the server room
• Getting the DHCP server up again
• Small things like static ip on Talos
• learned about nmap
• Currently working with Jonathan on saving the research servers and the managed switches
