Meeting Minutes

I have been meeting minutes for about a semester.

Fun fact: I have taken notes for 13 meeting this semester! Lucky since I've handed meeting minutes off to Hunter he's done a great job on the rest!

Talks: COVID 19 Addition

Added passwords to talks so that we can use it during the pandemic. It was pretty succesful but changing it every week was too inconvient.

Helping Run Meetings

Since Andy clearly uses a less superior web browser I've had to take on the role of Andy 2 during some meetings.

Open House: COVID 19 Addition

Accepted students day was really important for my transition from HS into Clarkson so hopefully I've been able to pass it on to more CS majors.

Minor Notes

• My Arch install has been stable for a few months now!
• Spent some time learning about onion routing. It would be cool if COSI could support the Tor community (the right way).
• My first OSX machine and have started Girl Code app development.

3D Printing

Mid length project only lasted a few weeks. Brought the 3d printing envirnoment back to life in COSI.

• STL from python
• STL talk 2 electric boogaloo
• Put the 3d printer to very good use:
1. Sierpinski Carpet
2. Menger Sponge x2
3. Mandlebrot Sets x2
4. New York State and United States Topology
5. Gave project challenge kids 3d printed images of thier choosing

Siri Shortcuts

Hunter and I discovered the power of Siri Shortcuts on IOS.

• Pioneered RECURSION which opened up the use of loops
• Participated in Hunter's lightning talk
• Sadly I haven't done the interpter

Cthulhu and BeastXY

Andy and I rebuilt BeastXY and reformatted Cthulhu.

• Disk transplant from BeastX into BeastY
