Welcome to my COSI for Credit Spring 2010 page! This semester I embarked on three projects:

  1. Tuxdroid
  2. Robot Operating System
  3. Robotic Obstacle Avoidance

Unfourtunately, I have class right now- so you may or may not be reading this. There are still some things that have to be added to this page, like the actual tutorials and code. I like to make sure that they are as polished as possible. :D

Hello whomever is reading this! I am Erin. In Spring 2010 I was officially a sophomore at Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY. Although I'm majoring in Computer Science, I have a passion for making robots appear and behave sociably.

My main focus for the Spring 2010 semester through COSI For Credit was to explore different things. Basically, I had no predefined set of goals. I knew there were some technologies that I wanted to play around with, so I did! In the end, I ended up learning a lot, and probably demystifying some aspects on projects for other users/collaborators as well.

    • We switched the Cars poster
    • A microwave exploded!
    • Got a new microwave
  • February
    • Erased the Pokemon board
    • Jacob introduced COSI to the game of Ricochet Robots!
  • March
    • SEGMOS became the unofficial icon of COSI
    • Open House with all the Firefox swag
    • Programming Competition
    • COSI adopted a penguin (Tuxdroid)
  • April
    • Valentines Day!
    • Switch caught on FIRE!
    • The final meeting was changed to a Wednesday
