ACES

Right now, I am working with Martin on his ACES (Advanced Cuda Encryption Standard) project. This project is to write code to do AES encryption using CUDA, which lets you run algorithms on GPUs. I wasn't familiar with CUDA before starting this project, but now I'm finding it to be very interesting. Utilizing the power of a GPU should greatly help some things. Its great to see these high powered graphics cards be used for more than just graphics processing.

This project seems to be coming along ok, I'm learning a lot from Marty. I am becoming more interested in cryptography through this project, and am enjoying working with encryption of data.

Other Stuff

I am also trying to learn LaTeX right now, seems to be going fine. This will help a lot if I ever need to type anything for a math class.
