MP151 - Open Source Software

This semester I worked on a few projects but mostly focused on the COSI Subversion Software Repository. I worked with Zach Shepherd to add the repository to his storage management server (storage.cosi.clarkson.edu) including setting up the SVN repository storage and the web-interface to it. The repository is hosted through Apache 2 with it's WebDAV plugin and I'm currently trying to find a suitable (secure, stable, useful) web interface for browsing the repository. As of now, only SVN clients can reasonably interact with the server and make the proper requests for transactions such as check out, check in/commit and update.

Summary of the SVN Repository Project A presentation on the setup of the Subversion repository is available here.
A copy of the configuration files with faked password hashes is available here.

One of the other projects I started was research in to what I call "Near live migration" but that's not very far along and I hope to develop it more next semester. It deals with doing a migration across a further distance than local networks, as well as migrating to a destination that does not already contain the disk image and/or configuration file for the VM in question.

My plans for next semester are:
