![I [heart] desktoplamp.com](http://www.desktoplamp.com/lamp.jpg)
I set up an
Apache server on my desktop, and I have been experimenting with PHP. So far I haven’t done anything too exciting, I
did create a simple forum, which you can find here (if you can’t get to it, I
must have turned my computer off). The
forum stores all of its data in a text file.
I will try to learn MySQL soon and set that up
to store the forum data. Right now the
forum allows images to be posted, which is done when the user inputs a comment
such as:

I got the idea
to post images and links like that from other online forums I’ve seen. Similarly, links can be posted by:

Hopefully I
will be able to add more features to the forum soon.
Other than
that, I haven’t really done much. I
attended IBM’s presentation on IMS, but that’s about it.
