My plan for this semester was to become very comfortable with linux so that I could start doing some more exciting projects.  My first accomplishment was to dual boot Fedora Core with Windows on my laptop Next I learned a bit about e-server administration, like creating accounts, deleting accounts, using accounts, etc. I also went to some COSI tutorials and learned about things like the tar command and scripting. One of my only contributions this semester was fixing the spell checking bug in abiword. In all I basically got a better feel for linux so that I hope next semester to contribute something significant.
