I gave a lightning talk about good code, the Minecraft Server Management Framework and the gamepad multiplexer.
I helped Abby get people where they needed to go for this event so we could have a fun day at the falls.
I spent some time with Chris and Sophia looking into getting started with DN42
There have been numerous occasions where I stop into the labs to help out with programming or Linux problems. I've assisted Henry a few times at the beginning of his adventures in mirror, given Sophia an intro to Golang and helped out with various other programming problems. I've helped Sydney with an Arch install. I've helped David with Deep Learning and I frequently help out with automata theory.
I helped Chris and Sophia re-image and configure the firewall rules on the new version of Ziltoid. I also showed as many steps as I could along the process.
The Minecraft Server Management Framework
This program will allow you to create, configure and maintain Minecraft servers with ease. I've given several talks about this, and put work into finishing up the permission system. I've also had several calls with others about how they can help getting involved.
If others would like to contribute, please feel free to contact me on Discord or email at stew3254#5246 and stewarrt@clarkson.edu
Chris and I worked on a program to take multiple controllers from multiple client devices and turn them into a single output device. It's currently key presses for now, but nearly works. We are very close to a minimum viable product once I fix a bug in the network protocol I made.
I wrote about 90% of a mancala game. I didn't finish writing the alpha beta pruning agent and never finished the scoring condition.
I turned my Raspberry Pi into a router and firewall in my room. I also learned how to set up and configure vlans with a managed switch.
I set up a Raspberry Pi Zero W headless using serial over USB and would be willing to teach others how to allow your devices to be controlled over USB.
I helped one of my roommates install Arch Linux at the start of the semester. In addition, I've helped him debug various kernel module and network issues. He still has been using it since then.
