I am taking MP451 for 3 credits this semester. This is my third semester taking MP*51, my second semester as a lab director, and my fourth year of COSI involvment. As per usual, my involvement in the labs this year has mostly consisted of workshops, lightning talks, and lab director duties. Here's a succinct summary.

• fuckitpy-The Python error steamroller.
• Esolangs-A repeat talk on esoteric languages.
• Computer Vision Extravagnza-Four cool computer vision papers.
• TempleOS-The fantastic world of TempleOS, an operating system written by a man with schizophrenia.
• Quines-Programming contortionism.
• Programming Challenges-Advent of Code, Project Euler, Hackerrank, and CodeFights.
• Google Cartographer-A Google package for SLAM with LIDAR.

• SimpleCV-The Python simplified computer vision software.
• Robotics 1:Basic Robotics and ROS-A basic crash course in ROS and robotics drive systems.
• Robotics 2:More ROS and Sensors-A continuation of ROS topics and a crash course on sensors
• More Robotics workshops have been done, mostly focused on hands on stuff.
• The robotics group succeeded in mapping the third floor of the Science Center: See here!

• Organized/participated in/ran Open House for the student side.
• Cleaned labs periodically (Props to those who cleaned before Open House).
• Attended and ran all meetings (except 1), moving between different portions of the meetings and making announcements.
• Performed liason work with the department. Examples include vetting and sending through purchase orders, buying pizza, etc.
• Maintained and monitered COSI environment and social structure.
• Worked with Potsdam ACM to plan the next Hack Potsdam event.

• Developed and prepared the concept for CRI.
• Contacted and worked with collaberators who will be running research projects.
• Began to develop research ideas of my own to work on with students next semester.

• Attended Hack Upstate, developing an Alexa skill.
