COSI Documentation

Zach and I have been working on Docs again this semester. Some improvements that have been made are:

  • Added Navboxes as seen at the bottom of the Presentations page.
Aside from that major change, I am always updating existing articles.

Autoguilt

The Autoguilt project is developing a time-based submission reminder system.

We are in the early phases of development at the moment discussing things such as program design.

By the first release of Autoguilt, we hope to have email reminders and submission of updates, some user management, reminder scheduling, and a basic web management interface.

Ultimately, we hope to have features such as reminders and updates via IM, SMS and Twitter, custom report format creation and submission detection (as in checking to see if an update was posted in some other way not using Autoguilt).

Checkers Challenge 08

Jacob and I are working on the next COSI Challenge: participants will create a checkers playing AI and will use our RESTful API and moderating server to play against each other.

Currently we have everything written except for the double/triple/etc jumping logic which is proving to be quite a bit of tedious coding...

COSI VM Recreation

Jacob and I recreated the COSI VM since the previous one had some major issues (couldn't log in via SSH and libc being erased are among others). The new VM is running Ubuntu 8.04 instead of Fedora Core 6. Planet is functional on it and all we have to do is move the website's content onto it
