My Goals - 1st Half of Semester
Cluster
Currently my main goal is to get the cluster into a usable condition, something teachers could use easily. This means I will write a queuing system
that makes it very easy to upload a program and put it in the queue. The other things that need to be done are writing
something that can autogenerate a hostfile (naming off the computers that will be used in the cluster). This doesn't have
to be dynamic, but we do need a way to indicate which computers will be used.
Xen
I would like to learn more about Xen, install it, and play around with it a
bit. Also, it would be nice to examine some code and try hacking some features.
Gedit -- LaTeX Plugin
New discovery! I would like to make some contributions to this plugin, since I
spent one semester learning the background to work on such a plugin, but could
not quite get the interfacing to gedit since using Python was brand new then.
Now we have a working model and I can contribute. They already have some comments in their code for things they would like done. I will be contacting them
about what I can do for the second half of the semester.

Get code submitted on autocompletion, since this appears to be the weakest portion right now. I use many commands that are not listed.
