Things I have completed:
GUI Python-based LaTeX compiler
Latex.py
test.tex file to run Latex.py against
(must use this file name until more functionality is put it)
run with: python Latex.py and click the button. If you have test.tex in the same directory, you will get a test.dvi
file. Open this with: xdvi test.dvi and you will see my wonderful latex output.
LaTeX gedit plugin(appears but doesn't function)
latexplugin.tar
Two step process: get the new_mdi branch of gedit cvs, place the (untarred) files above in your
$HOME/.gnome2/gedit/plugins directory. The plugin should now appear in the list of available plugins. I can't guarantee
anything nice will happen if you click on it.
lacheck Arch-linux package
lacheck-1.26.tar.gz
Need arch to be able to use this. Then simply run: makepkg && pacman -A lacheck-1.26-2.pkg.tar.gz and everything
should be installed properly.
